Who are The Electronics Group (EGL)?
Formerly known as Electronics Yorkshire, The Electronics Group are a team of experts in the industry, with over 250 years of combined knowledge in both Electronics Manufacturing and Engineering.

The Electronics Group is the UK’s largest independent IPC and electronics training centre. We have been offering a range of courses to companies of all size around the UK (and sometimes abroad) for 16 years.
What services are available at The Electronics Group?
EGL offers a range of IPC Certified Courses, Bespoke Soldering and Electronics Skills and Technical Inspection Services. We also support the industry with expert Recruitment Services for both temporary and permanent roles. As well as being an Authorised IPC Training centre, we’re also authorised as an IPC Distributor, our online store showcases some of the products we can supply.
Our History
Established in 2003, Electronics Yorkshire (originally part of Bradford College) has been providing training and support services for many years. In 2015 we changed from Electronics Yorkshire to The Electronics Group, to recognise the role we play in the wider electronics industry throughout the UK. EGL has continued to operate from its Leeds HQ, the largest training centre of its kind in the country. All our services from training to recruitment operate from our Head Office.
